I needed further clarification since I have several 'situations' going on in my life and I didn't know which one the card was referring to. I was guided to the computer and brought up my favorite search engine, then proceeded to type in the question, "What have I learned from this situation?" That search brought up all kinds of sites, but the only one I found interesting where I might find an answer turned out to be the right and perfect one for me today.
What I realized is that this was to be a learning experience in which I would be asking about myself. I realized I had decided all of the situations in my life were created by others around me and just happened to have them in my life. Yet I further realized I have just as big a part in this as the next person. It was up to me to own my 'situations'. Since I am the creator of my life after all, what is it I am creating I wondered?
My spiritual journey is life itself. How am I handling it? My answer tells me if I am in alignment with the universe or not. When 'situations' occur do I react or do I respond? Truthfully I usually react even though I know a wiser choice is to respond. What’s the difference between a response or reacting? Responding is a conscious act in which you take a moment to think about what is happening. Reacting is a subconscious behavior that you are not in control of. It is always a referenced feeling from something in your past and you act without thinking. The more you practice being in control of your actions the easier this gets for you, and the quicker you notice when you are out of control, the sooner you can return to the place of conscious harmony.
I was then asked, "Do I hold any judgments around my 'situation'?" I am still learning about myself. "How do I see myself? Do I feel equal to others or lesser, or do I feel higher than those around me?" This takes some honest introspection. I must discover what my feelings are telling me and check to see if I am honoring all my feelings, even the ones I don’t want to feel, those that are uncomfortable. If I choose to ignore them they become buried insdie of me only to reappear the next time a 'situation' is created from that same vibration. If I choose to deal with the emotions now in a healthy way that I feel are unpleasant now, it takes the charge out of the 'situation' so it doesn’t need to be relived at a future time. It's up to me to use the knowledge and values I have acquired in my life walk when these 'situations' occur, or else I'll simply travel on auto-pilot and continue my old path of unwise choices. And what about others? I have to assess if I'm judging them in both positive and negative ways, or I am simply making assessments according to my perspective in the part of the 'situation' that is theirs.
The last two things this website talked about were intuition and recognizing grace. Intuition brought me to the website where I found these questions. Although I don't always pay attention to the intuition within me, I know it is there for me to use. I was searching for an answer on what to write and intuition led me to what I needed to know. We all have intuition in us. We just have to start paying attention. I believe it happens much more than we notice. When we do notice, when we recognize how all things are connected, then we know the grace of God. And once we know the grace of God we are free to create our own opportunities instead of 'situations' that just happen to us.
If you are wanting to create your own opportunities instead of 'situations' just happening to you, stop by Where Miracles Happen and learn what we have to offer that can help you reach your dreams and find opportunities to grow and experience spiritual and physical healing.
